Kedi Movie Story

Ramesh (Nagarjuna) also called as Rummy falls in love with his friend Janaki in his childhood itself. Janaki advises Rummy to earn good money and also tells that she would marry him only then.

Rummy then becomes a gambler and starts earning good income. He cheats the men those who become rich by false means through his gambling. ACP Sekhar (Sayaji Shinde) plans to catch Rummy but his attempts fail every time.

Chandra (Ankur) who runs a pub will get attracted by Rummy’s talent and hand overs his smuggling to him. In the meanwhile, in Goa, Rummy wins the heart of Linda (Nadia) as he saves her sister Sara (Poula) from a cruel man called Victor. Linda proposes to Rummy but he negates it.

On the other hand, Sandhya (Mamta Mohandas) helps Nagarjuna in his gambling. Who actually Sandhya is? and what happened to Janaki? All that suspense will be revealed in the climax part.

Actors Performance

Nagarjuna as usual done his best.Mamata Mohandas is just ok.Brahmanandam has brought some laughs in the theatre. Harshavardhan did good job.Others are ok. Ankur in a negative role did his best.

The songs ‘Mayagadu raa ee Mayamashindra’and ‘Mu mu muddante chedaa’ got good response from the audience.

Defects

Music was not good as expected. Too many twists confused the narration.

KEDI Final Analysis

The director’s lack of experience is seen in every aspect of movie. First half and second half go in similar tone with entertainment.The movie was entertaining but It’s confusing for the masses. The love angle and emotions aren’t presented in a subtle way to attract class audience.
