Panjaa Movie Public ReviewPanjaa, a long-waited movie of Power star Pawan Kalyan has been released today i.e., December 9th. This movie has been directed by “Vishnuvardhan” and this is his first debut in telugu.

Panjaa Movie Story

Jay (Pawan Kalyan) is a key person in a mafia gang lead by Jackie Shroff. He as well runs a nursery in Kolkatta where Sandhya (Sarah Jane Dias) joins as a flower caretaker. Both fall in love but they never express it with each other. In the meanwhile, Munna (Adavi Shesh), the son of Bhagavan (Jackie Shroff) will kill Janavi (Anjani Lavania) who is Jay’s childhood friend and this forms the collision between Bhagavan and Jay. The story gets a twist here and Jackie Shroff starts searching for Pawan. What happens next is rest of the story?

Actors Performances:

Pawan Kalyan, no doubt, is the show stealer. With his impressive new look, Pawan suited well for the role. He will definitely get applause for his dialogues, comedy and dance movements that he tried in this movie. Especially, the comedy scenes between Brahmanandam (paparayudu) and Pawan is hilarious.

Sarah Jane Dias, the former Miss India is the main heroine for Pawan. She is seen in both village as well as a modern girl getup and impresses everyone with her cute looks.

Anjana Lavania is pretty and sizzles in the item number “Veyira Cheyi Veyira” that comes as the first songs in the movie. Although, she has less screen presence, she has done good job for her role.

Adavi Shesh (Munna)’s acting was too good. Jackie Shroff justified his role as a mafia don. Subba Raju is not utilized properly. Tanikella Bharani, Atul Kulkarni, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, Jansi (anchor) etc…have done their part well.

After a long gap, Ali acted with Pawan as his childhood friend in this movie and in a very key role. He is at his best.

Technical Aspects:

Vishnuvardhan’s stylish direction can be clearly noticed in this movie. His presentation of Mafia backdrop and Village backdrop are excellent. Visual effects have been very well utilized for better presentation. Mostly, the climax action sequences were shot excellently. Action Choreographer “Shyam Kaushal” should be appreciated for his efforts.

Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is another good highlight of this movie. All the songs have got good response from the audience. Especially, the “Panjaa title song” which comes as a surpise at the end titles. Background score is done perfectly.

Cinematography by P.S.Vinod, Editing by Sreekar Prasad, Art work by Sunil definitely has an impact on the movie success.

Final Verdict:

Panjaa is one film which definitely entertains you with Action, Drama, Romance, Music, and most of all comedy. The movie will make you involved in it such that you couldn’t even recognize that the main title songs of Panjaa have been missed and as a surprise it comes at the end of the movie with Pawan Kalyan dancing at his best. Can watch atleast twice :)
